The Wanaque Ridge Trail is located in the scenic NJ Highlands of Ramapo State Forest and takes hikers past some of the most geologically ancient cliffs and rock features in the country. The New York-New Jersey Trail Conference approached the Rovers to repair a section of the trail with on going improvements from 2012-2014 to reinforce a fall line ascent that takes hikers to one of the scenic cliff faces. A total of 36 crew members volunteered a total of 900 hours to install 35 stone steps over two separate work weekends.
